Cancer treatment can affect what you are able to eat and how your body handles food. Join us for a new nutrition program for cancer patients at the Beth Wright Cancer Resource Center on Wednesday, March 8, 10:30 am – 12 noon, to learn basic information about maintaining good nutrition to help you feel your best during cancer treatment. This workshop is led by Dempsey Center’s nutritionist Kelly Falone, RDN, LD. Follow along online in the convenience of your own home or come to the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center watch a live telecast as Kelly prepares a quick and easy smoothie recipe. Volunteer Cathy Flesh will be preparing smoothies in the Beth Wright Center kitchen for sampling.
The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center continues to collaborate with the Dempsey Center, a renowned provider of cancer support services in Lewiston and South Portland, Maine, to bring a selection of their holistic cancer support programs to rural downeast Maine. This partnership is helping expand and complement the Beth C.
