The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center will be hosting a new walking group this summer that will be led by mindfulness specialist, Jen Harry. Simply going for a walk can be a great opportunity to incorporate a mindfulness practice into your everyday routine. The first group walk will take place every third Friday of the month from 9:15 – 10 am. Participants will meet at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center at 23 Commerce Park in Ellsworth.
Jen will explain how this practice can reduce stress and enrich your life. A variety of walking meditation techniques will be shared each month that demonstrate how to slow down in a busy world and assist in relaxing. Walking meditation is good for the body and the mind.
