Making Room for Relief in Your Life: An Introduction to Savasana with Julie Daigle on Zoom

As we try to meet the demands of a fast-paced world, learning how to find relief from the stressors in our lives by entering a deeply relaxed state can enable us to refresh and carry-on. Yoga practices utilize the resting pose known as Savasana to transition from active stretching, strengthening and balancing poses to a state of calm for the body and the mind. In this workshop on February 10, 2022, at 11 am to noon, yoga instructor Julie Daigle will introduce Savasana as a way to enter true relaxation to find the peace we seek in our everyday lives, and to serve as a foundation for deeper meditation. The workshop will take place on Zoom.
Julie Daigle brings to this session over 30 years of mindfulness and movement practice, and certification in many mind-body-spirit modalities, including several styles of yoga practice and tai chi. Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra have been her primary focus lately. Julie is passionate about building interest and capacity for relaxing and slowing down as a preventative measure against disease and as balm for discomfort. Julie is looking forward to sharing what she has learned about Savasana in ten years as a yoga teacher.
