Cooking with Herbs with Chef Cas Dowden

Join us on Weds., March 13 from 11:30 – 1:30 as Chef Cas Dowden will be in the Beth Wright Center kitchen highlighting the use of herbs to get us thinking about the fresh spring herbs that will be greening-up soon. She will be sharing recipes for a variety of pesto sauces, a main dish, and a lavender cake to create a full meal featuring herbs.
As always, participants will be encouraged to help in the kitchen and sample the dishes afterward. Cas is a personal chef from Bar Harbor known for her down-home cooking.
