Cooking with Cas: Ancient Grains & Food Safety During and After Cancer Treatment

Ellsworth, Maine–Join us for this free cooking demonstration where Chef Cas Dowden will teach us about cooking with the ancient grains of quinoa, barley and cous cous. Cas creates an all-inclusive cooking environment, where all attendees actively participate in the preparation of the recipes she has chosen for the class, and have the opportunity to sample what they have prepared.
This session will also encompass an important discussion covering food safety during and after cancer treatment.This class is open to all, is free and will be held in the Beth Wright Cancer Center kitchen.
