Navigating a cancer diagnosis is difficult in and of itself but finding support and connecting with those who understand adds another layer of challenges, especially when living in a rural area. To help ease the journey through a cancer diagnosis for those living in Central Maine, the Dempsey Center has partnered with Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center to bring their services to the Ellsworth area.
Using the Dempsey Connects virtual platform, clients of Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center will be able to access this program virtually from the comfort of their own home. This online class will allow clients across the state to access a high-quality program and encourage connection between those who have been impacted by cancer.
As with all Dempsey Center and Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center services, these virtual programs will be provided at no cost. Individuals may access this program at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center if needed.
This program is possible thanks to the support of Jane’s Trust, a charitable foundation located in Boston, MA, and Hannaford Foundation.
