Beth C. Wright Cancer Center ~ September Open House featuring Donna Wiegle

September is National Ovarian and Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month and to honor that the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center and Stanley Subaru have joined forces to promote this monthly educational campaign.

Throughout the month there are weekly highlights of recommended cervical cancer screening tools, symptoms, and risk factors of that are being posted on social media, websites, and other media outlets. Teal Tuesday Tips is running every Tuesday that focuses on ovarian cancer tips that often go uncharted bringing them to light.

To celebrate the conclusion of this campaign we invite the public to the September 29 Open House at the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center featuring special guest speaker Donna Wiegle.

Donna is a woman of action, tremendous courage, an ovarian cancer survivor and thriver, who decided to embark on a ride across the United States on her teal and white Harley-Davidson motorcycle to raise awareness about ovarian cancer.

Donna will be here to tell her incredible story and offer a book signing of her book, “FINDING COURAGE: Navigating Cancer on my Harley.” This open house is open to the public, please join us! Refreshments will be served.
