Benefits of a Dairy-Free, Raw Foods Diet Discussion & Cooking Demonstration

Blue Hill’s Chef Edde Howland shares her experience & recipes

Chef Edde Howland of Blue Hill will present a cooking discussion and demonstration illustrating the benefits of a dairy-free and raw food diet. The discussion will highlight the nutritional value of these foods and their benefits to the human micro-biome. Believing that what we eat can support our health and healing, Edde will share delicious recipes for participants to prepare and sample. The featured recipes, that are rich in enzymes and calcium, will include vegan cheese and vegan cheese sauces. 

Edee has been practicing classical Homeopathy since 1995, where nutritional education is part of her Blue Hill practice. Over the last twelve years, she has been learning more about nutrition and genuine nourishment. Edde is an author, teacher, ordained minister and chef.

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 18 from 11:30 – 1:30 pm. The Beth Wright Cancer Resource Center is sponsoring the event and is located at 23 Commerce Park in Ellsworth. It is free and open to all. If you have questions or would like to register, call 207-664-0339.
