Have you heard that Acupuncture can be beneficial for treating the side effects of cancer treatments and other health conditions? Research shows that acupuncture is safe and effective in managing many symptoms while easing stress and anxiety.
Acupuncturist Christine Cuneo will lead an educational presentation on Acupuncture on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 10:30 am – 12-noon. Guests will learn what it is; how it improves the flow of energy throughout the body; and how it works especially for managing pain, the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation, nutritional issues, and fatigue. She will explain the origins of this practice and how it is has become an effective complementary therapy for a variety of conditions.
Christine Cuneo is a licensed acupuncturist with her own practice in Ellsworth, Maine that she started in 2004. She holds a Masters of Acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture and is also a graduate of Saint Vincent Hospital School of Nursing in Massachusetts. Christine has been a certified oncology nurse for 18 years and a hospice nurse for 2 years.
