Ellsworth — Are you looking for ways to reduce your stress and take better care of yourself? Do you struggle with acute or chronic pain?
Music is a powerful and enjoyable way to improve your wellbeing. This talk will explore music-based wellness and stress management techniques to help you learn to tune out stress and tune into yourself.
The Beth Wright Cancer Resource Center will be hosting this free workshop and Carla Tanguay, MA, MT-BC will be presenting helpful natural ways to help in reducing pain. All are welcome to attend. We will be serving soup for lunch after the talk.
Carla Tanguay, MA, MT-BC, is a board certified music therapist with over 15 years of experience. The owner of Modulations Therapies, Carla provides group and individual music therapy services to clients from 1 to 101 years old, addressing goals ranging from pain management to rehabilitation to wellness. Carla holds a Master’s Degree in music therapy and has been a featured speaker at national conferences, medical schools, and healthcare organizations.
